Willys accounts for 10% of the rental value of Prisma’s portfolio overall. Today, the chain has over 240 stores in Sweden and continues growing faster than the market.

When establishing new stores, Willys seeks out locations where there is a clear demand for affordable and sustainable food, with very high throughput and easy access both by car and on foot. With Prisma as a partner, Willys will not only have access to the right locations, but also the ability to establish itself where there are synergies between shopping, restaurants and EV charging.

After several years of rising food prices, the pressure for more Willys stores across Sweden remains high, according to Heinz Möller, Establishment Manager for the chain.
